Mr. Atkinson

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what are the names of those non-Audit Bureau of Circulation newspapers in which the Government or its agents purchased advertising space in connection with the decimalisation campaign.

Courier and Advertiser (Dundee); Sunday Post (Glasgow); Hull Daily Mail, Grimsby Evening Telegraph; Lincolnshire Echo; Express and Star (Wolverhampton); South Wales Argus; and South Wales Evening Post.

All these newspapers provide independently audited net circulation figures.
