§ The Attorney-GeneralMy noble Friend the Lord Chancellor is responsible for appointing Commons Commissioners under Section 17 of the Act. He will appoint the first as soon as statutory regulations have been made providing for the reference of disputes to them. My right hon. Friends, the Secretaries of State for the Environment and for Wales, will make these regulations when consultations with the outside organisations concerned have been completed.
