§ Mr. AlisonAll, so far as we are aware, are implementing Section 2 of the Act to which I assume the hon. Member refers.
§ Mr. Leadbitterasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what steps he has taken to assess the numbers involved and likely to qualify for assistance under the provisions of the Chronically Sick 271W and Disabled Persons Act, 1970; what analysis he has made of the classes of sickness and disability involved; and what advice he has given to local authorities.
§ Mr. AlisonRelevant information from the Survey by the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys of the Chronically Sick and Handicapped will be published about the end of April. In the light of that information, we will consider what guidance needs to be given to local authorities.
