asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when he proposes to have discussions with the motor industry on the implementation of proposals in the Report of the Committee on Corrosion and Protection.

Mr. Ridley

The recommendations of the report apply to industry at large, and we intend to await the reactions of industry and other interested parties.
