Mr. Dormand

asked the Minister for the Civil Service whether he has yet decided to transfer the offices of a Government Department to Peterlee; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. David Howell

As I told the hon. Member on 13th January, we shall consider Peterlee, along with other places, as a possible location for a dispersed Government office. I cannot give undertakings about particular places at this stage.—[Vol. 809, c. 62.]
