Mr. Pardoe

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what will be the expenditure on the A38 between Exeter and Bodmin in each year from 1971–72 to 1975–76.

Some £25 million worth of major improvement schemes are under construction, programmed or in preparation. The incidence of expenditure during the period will depend on the progress made with preparing and building these schemes.
