§ Mr. Chichester-Clarkasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will list the working parties and advisory committees of his Department currently in existence which have as members of them persons other than civil servants, indicating in each case when each was set up and when it is intended that they will report.
§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe Department has a very large number of Committees advising on various aspects of its work. I mentioned some of the more prominent in reply to a Question by the hon. Member for Roxburgh, Selkirk and Peebles (Mr. David Steel) on 9th February. If my hon. Friend is interested in any particular committee, or in any particular branch of the Department's work, I will obtain details for him.
