§ 70. Mr. Gurdenasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will provide more than one place on the Training Council for Social Work for members of the Residential Child Care Association.
§ Mr. AlisonIn view of the large number of interests to be represented on the new Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work, it has not been possible to allot more than one place to the Association. The importance of residential social work will, however, be fully recognised by other interests represented on the council, and will be taken into account by Ministers when the seven appointments reserved to them are made.
