§ Mr. Edward Lyonsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department which further prisons transferred to the Crown under the Prison Act, 1877, he expects to be closed by the years 1980 and 2000, respectively.
§ Mr. CarlisleI expect all such existing prisons, except Oxford, to remain in use at least until 1980. I cannot say what the position may be in the year 2000.
