§ 34. Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Attorney-General whether he has yet been able to make an estimate of the costs of the recent prosecution of the Sunday Telegraph and others under the Official Secrets Act.
§ The Attorney-GeneralNo useful estimate of the total costs is possible until the costs have been taxed. The Taxing Officer of the Central Criminal Court is still awaiting bills from the defending solicitors. Taxation cannot be concluded until at least two weeks from the date of their delivery to him.
