Sir Clive Bossomasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in view of the fact that Australia, South Africa, Cyprus and Malta provide approximately one-sixth of the total wine imports of the United Kingdom, if he will give an assurance that these interests will be properly safeguarded in the current discussions on Britain's application to join the European Economic Community.
§ Mr. Anthony StodartThe proposals for a gradual phasing-in of tariff changes over a transitional period will help the adjustment of trade in products which would be affected by entry to the European Economic Community.
