asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) how many foreign males enter the country each year for the purpose of entering private nursing homes and clinics and National Health Service hospitals as private patients; and for what medical or surgical procedures they come;

(2) how many foreign women enter the country each year for the purpose of entering private nursing homes and clinics and National Health Service hospitals; and for what medical or surgical procedures they come other than termination of pregnancy.
