§ Mr. AlisonDamaged fire extinguishers are promptly replaced. One type of extinguisher, however, cannot be tested except by discharging it completely. These extinguishers are already being replaced by a new model which will be tested at intervals and replaced as necessary. Extinguishers fitted to invalid three-wheelers have been tested by the Joint Fire Research Organisation of the Department of the Environment and the Fire Offices Committee.
