1966 6,741 1967 7,246 1968 7,609 1969 7,599 1970 7,989 The number of these persons found guilty in the Metropolitan Police District was 2,006 in 1969 and 2,242 in 1970. Figures for earlier years could not be obtained without disproportionate cost.
