§ Mr. BryanI regret that I cannot provide figures of the average earnings of people living in Mid-Wales. Average earnings for males and females in the standard sub-divisions of regions of Great Britain are available from the new earnings survey held in April, 1970 where the numbers in the sample permitted reliable estimates to be made. This was not the case for the central sub-division of Wales.
