§ Mr. Matherasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when the time comes to re-negotiate the Commonwealth Sugar Agreement in 1974, who will be responsible for those negotiations.
§ Mr. Anthony RoyleIf Britain enters the European Economic Community the arrangements for the importation of sugar after 1974 from the Commonwealth developing countries will be worked out in the framework of the negotiations on association or on trade agreements, depending on which of these alternatives the countries concerned opt for. These negotiations will take place between these Commonwealth countries and the enlarged Community.
