Mr. Churchillasked the Prime Minister whether he is satisfied with the co-ordination between the Department of Trade and Industry and the Department of employment in considering all proposals, including any from private enterprise, that might carry on steel production at the Irlam Steel Works and safeguard the jobs of many of the 4,300 men who are to be made redundant by the British Steel Corporation.
