§ Mr. Marksasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will set up machinery to enable local education authorities to have consultation with her Department to ensure that policy decisions in education are more closely related to available resources.
§ Mrs. ThatcherThere are well-established channels by which I can obtain the views of local authorities on questions of educational policy. I am always ready to consider any suggestions which the local authorities may have for improvements.
