Friend is referring to airmen employed in the 19 groups of ground trades, the answer is that there are no overall plans at present to alter the generally satisfactory rate of promotion. In individual trades and trade groups, short-term problems occur as, for example, in certain medical trades where improvements in the rate of advancement are about to be announced.
