§ Mr. Michael HeseltineMy right hon. Friend announces today that he has made orders fixing the route of the Abingdon Bypass (South Hinksey-Drayton) and the adjacent Drayton-Chilton section. The one modification to the orders considered at the public inquiry is an alteration in the line at Bagley Wood. My right hon.184W Friend is still considering the programming of the Drayton-Chilton section but subject to the satisfactory completion of the statutory procedures construction of the Abingdon Bypass will start early in 1972.
