§ Mr. Juddasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will make a progress report on the arrangements being made by the Community Relations Commission, at the request of the Government, for the United Nations Year against Racial Discrimination; and what extra financial assistance has been provided by the Government for the programme.
§ Mr. SharplesThe Community Relations Commission has recently published a selection of the responses received from local community relations councils about the celebration of the Year—now known in the United Kingdom as the International Year for Racial Harmony—and they will be announcing further projects from time to time.
