§ Mr. Anthony GrantThe Department employs 26 staff in one unit at Heathrow and 16 staff in the second unit at Gatwick. Over 99 per cent. of total departures comply with the prescribed maximum noise levels and it is only by monitoring that the number of infringements is known.
