§ Mr. BarberFrom end-June to end-December, 1970, United Kingdom official long-term debt was reduced by £74 million. Short and medium-term debt rose by £150 million to end-September, 1970: I cannot anticipate the normal publication of later debt levels, but there have since been published reductions of this debt totalling £156 million.
