§ Mr. Martenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what extent and in which commodities he estimates the United Kingdom will provide a substantial market for the agriculture exports of the Common Market countries if it joins.
§ Mr. Anthony StodartAn increase can be expected in the receipts of other members of an enlarged Community from their agricultural exports to the United Kingdom, partly as a result of the higher prices to which we shall be moving. The enlarged Community will include Denmark and the Irish Republic, for whose agricultural exports we already provide a substantial market. It is not possible to give precise estimates of the changes for individual commodities.
