asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many consultants specialising exclusively in rheumatic diseases are attached to hospitals in the Glantawe and South-West Wales Hospital Management Committee areas, respectively.

No consultants in these areas specialise exclusively in rheumatic diseases but a consultant in physical medicine, a speciality which include rheumatology, is based in Swansea and serves hospitals in the Glantawe Hospital Management Committee area.
