§ 72. Rev. Ian Paisleyasked the Minister of State for Defence if he is aware of concern amongst the workers at the Royal Naval Armament Depôt at Antrim, Northern Ireland, because the agreement that the working week should commence on Monday has been broken; and if he will take steps to have the position remedied.
§ Mr. LambtonUnder arrangements dating from 1967 the wages of employees at this depôt are calculated on a pay week of seven days ending on Friday. This is therefore the basis of payments under the Guaranteed Week Agreement, and I am satisfied that this Agreement has been correctly observed.
