§ Mr. SharplesApplications by foreign nationals and Commonwealth citizens to enter and remain in the United Kingdom are dealt with in accordance with the law and any applicable immigration rules, in the light of all relevant circumstances. As to legislation, I would invite the hon. Member to await the Bill foreshadowed in the Gracious Speech.
