asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many building workers are currently out of work in the Bishop Auckland, Shildon, Barnard Castle employment exchange areas.

At 11 th January, 1971, there were 382 persons registered as unemployed in the Bishop Auckland, Shildon and Barnard Castle Employment Exchange areas who last worked in the construction industry.
