During each of the past three years, to the end of December 1970, the number of suggestions received from Treasury staff was:
Of these five have been implemented and two are being given further consideration. This information refers to the Treasury only. To supply similar information about all the Departments under my right hon. Friend's control would take a disproportionate amount of time and effort.
