§ Mr. AlisonThere is no specific grant to local authorities towards their expenditure on home safety propaganda, but the estimated expenditure is taken into account in arriving at rate support grant, already determined up to 1972–73.
I am anxious to see a reduction of accidents in the home and will continue to encourage efforts towards this end in conjunction with my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary, the Health Education Council, local authorities and voluntary bodies working in this field.
