§ Mr. Robert Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will take steps to relax the rule which freezes the amount of pension paid to those pensioners who have fulfilled their contributory obligations but now reside abroad.
§ Mr. DeanPersons drawing British pensions overseas already receive our pension increases if they live in countries which have agreed under reciprocal arrangements to pay their pension increases here. Nearly one-third of all pensioners abroad are covered by these arrangements which we are endeavouring to extend to as many countries as possible.
