§ Mr. Prenticeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether his proposals for the route of the M15 within the London Borough of Newham will be modified to take account of the reports of the firms of consultants who were appointed by his predecessor to study the social effects of the siting of urban motorways.
§ Mr. PeytonResearch studies by consultants into various problems of fitting major roads into urban areas were undertaken for the Urban Motorways Committee. Its report is expected next year; it would be premature to attempt to consider its relevance for the M15.
