§ 47. Mr. Brewisasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will seek to amend the Criminal Appeal (Scotland) Act, 1926, to enable a re-trial to be ordered when fresh defence evidence becomes available.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellThe Thomson Committee on Criminal Procedure are considering this and related questions about the 1926 Act with a view to an interim report. I propose to await the outcome of their examination.
