§ Mr. Gordon CampbellOn 4th November, 1971, my Department issued the report of a working party on nursery education entitled "Before Five" and drew it to the attention of education authorities. Assistance is available under the urban programme for the provision of nursery facilities in areas of special social need.
At January, 1971, there were 12,539 pupils receiving nursery education, compared with 10,489 in January, 1970.
