§ Mr. Gordon CampbellThe town councils of Hamilton and Motherwell and Wishaw, together with Lanark County Council, have put to me their proposals for Strathclyde County Park, to be created in the floodplain of the Clyde between Hamilton and Motherwell.
I have recently informed these local authorities that, although the costs have increased, their proposals remain broadly acceptable in principle for grant under the Industrial Development Act, 1966, and the Countryside (Scotland) Act, 1967.
