§ Mr. G. Johnson SmithAt about midnight on 26th April a large double explosion severely damaged the Army Information Office in Cecil Street, Newry. The unoccupied living quarters behind the office were demolished and the office itself suffered severe structural damage. A civilian living near the office sustained slight injuries as a result of the explosion, and some blast damage was caused to neighbouring buildings.
