§ Mr. AmeryHousing Associations are already eligible for the same kinds of Exchequer assistance as local authorities if they operate under approved arrangements with local authorities, while a co-ownership housing society may receive the option mortgage subsidy collectively. Their position will of course be examined as part of the reform of local authority finance.
