HC Deb 28 April 1971 vol 816 cc125-6W
106. Mr. Hardy

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the total number of houses in the Yorkshire and Humberside region which are of such a poor standard as to merit clearance, and by what date at current building activity it is expected that clearance will have been achieved.

Mr. Amery

In 1968 housing authorities in the region gave estimates of unfit houses amounting to about 127,000.
