19. Mr. Worsley

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what London boroughs have set up, or are proposing to set up, housing aid centres.

Mr. Amery

Two London Boroughs, Lambeth and Islington, have established housing aid centres; most of the other Inner London authorities are actively considering doing so.

51. Mr. Costain

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what advice he is giving to local authorities with regard to housing aid centres.

I have prepared an advisory memorandum giving a check list of services which might be covered, and sent it to 29 selected authorities, It is available to any other authority on request.
