§ Mr. Anthony StodartThere have been no recent forest fires at Kielder Forest. If the hon. Member is referring to the fires which occurred at Harwood and Rothbury Forests on 14th and 15th April, these apparently spread from moor burning operations on neighbouring land. About 11 acres of plantations were destroyed and 10 acres were damaged.
