§ Mr. HigginsThe net yield of S.E.T. in Scotland in 1970–71 is estimated at about £49 million. I cannot give a comparable figure for the 12 months commencing July, 1971, but for a full year after the tax cut it is estimated that the net yield in Scotland will be about £24 million.
