§ Mr. Anthony GrantSince 18th February, 43 inquiries have been received from industrialists seeking expansion or new developments in the West Central Scotland special development area. Twenty-three of these were from firms at present outside the area.
So far as I am aware, decisions have not yet been taken following these inquiries.

§ Mr. Anthony GrantSince 18th February, 1971, areas in Scotland out-with the special development areas have been suggested as suitable locations to 12 firms. In the same period 67 firms have expressed interest in expanding in these areas.
