§ Mr. Mulleyasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will set out the sources of the capital to be supplied for the recently proposed second-force airline and in particular to give the amounts to be provided by British and overseas investors, respectively.
§ Mr. NobleI understand that 98.1 per cent. of the capital of the new airline will be British and 1.9 per cent. foreign (representing the interest of certain Scotsmen living in the United States of America). The names of most of the shareholders were released by Caledonian Airways on 21st October and I have placed a copy in the Library.
§ Mr. Mulleyasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, if he will make a further statement on the future of British air services, in the light of the recent decision to set up a second-force airline.
