§ 75. Mr. Pagetasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether, in the negotiations for Great Britain's entry into the European Economic Community he will seek to ensure that it will remain possible to supply coal to industry at uneconomic and subsidised prices, as a part of his general policy of reducing prices.
§ Mr. RidleyThe price at which coal is supplied to industry would remain a matter for the National Coal Board on entry into the European Community, and the Board would be required to avoid discrimination much as they are now.
