§ Mr. Juddasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what special provisions he has made to ensure the availability of financial resources to provide adequate housing, recreational facilities and other amenities for the rapidly expanding population in South Hampshire during the next 20 years; and whether he will make a statement.

Until one plan is selected it is premature to consider what financial resources will be necessary to meet the commitments in110W respect of roads and sewers, which I appreciate must be substantial in any event but which my right hon. Friend does not believe will warrant the singling out of South Hampshire, from other major growth areas, for any special provisions.
