Osbornasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what has been the change in both value of all types of British investment overseas since 1964, and the extent to which profits earned are being ploughed back and remitted to this country by way of dividend; what is now the total overseas indebtedness; and what interest and capital repayments are now overdue.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinI would refer my hon. Friend to Tables 23, 42 and 44 of the 1970 Pink Book on the United Kingdom balance of payments. No payments on official overseas indebtedness are overdue.
