48. Mr. George Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he will state the names of the hospitals in Wales that he has visited officially since 20th June, 1970.

Mr. Peter Thomas

The Minister of State, to whom I have given responsibilities for the Health Service in Wales has visited 11 Welsh Hospitals since 20th June. With permission I will list the names in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

The following is the information:

  • 17th August—Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny.
  • 17th August—Dewi Sant Hospital, Pontypridd.
  • 18th August—Glanrhyd, Penyfai and Parc Hospitals, Bridgend.
  • 18th August—Bridgend General Hospital, Bridgend.
  • 25th August—Maelor General Hospital, Wrexham.
  • 25th August—Wrexham War Memorial Hospital.
  • 25th August—Abergele Chest Hospital, Abergele.
  • 26th August—Oakwood Park Hospital, Conway.
  • 26th August—Bryn-y-Neuadd Hospital.
  • 13th November—Bridgend General Hospital (prize-giving).
