HC Deb 18 November 1970 vol 806 c403W
64. Mr. Clinton Davis

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has to take steps to remove from the Rent Act, 1968 properties with a rateable value of over £250 in London and £150 outside London.

Mr. Channon

My right hon. Friend will wish to consider the report by the Committee on the Rent Act, chaired by Mr. Hugh Francis, Q.C., before deciding whether any change in the present rateable value limits is needed.
