HC Deb 18 November 1970 vol 806 cc401-2W
36. Mr. Barnes

asked the Lord President of the Council if he will allocate more Parliamentary time for the Secretary of State for the Environment to give oral answers to Questions in view of the curtailment of the time previously available for Questions on housing and local government, transport, and public building and works, which has followed upon the reorganisation of Government Departments.

37. Mr. Sillars

asked the Lord President of the Council what representations he has received from hon. Members about the Order of Questions from 27th October to 24th December.

Mr. Whitelaw

I suggest we give the roster a trial, though I am, of course, willing to consider, through the usual channels, changes if that proves to be the general wish. In reply to the hon. Member for South Ayrshire (Mr. Sillars), I have not received any other representations.
