§ 58. Mr. Evelyn Kingasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will now appoint a date as required by Section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act, 1970, concerning the issue of a badge which will enable parking facilities for the disabled.
§ Mr. Michael HeseltineConsultations upon the Government's proposals for the provisions of the regulations governing the issue and use of the new badges are now being held with the local authority associations and organisations representing disabled persons. An order bringing Section 21 into force will be made as soon as finality is reached on those consultations and the regulations are ready for introduction.
